My work centers on the emotional connections shared between humans and animals. I am drawn to the subtle gestures, expressions, and moments of presence that reveal the depth of these relationships. Through expressive color and layered brushwork, I aim to capture not only likeness, but the feeling of connection—being seen, remembered, or loved.

Working in a modern impressionistic style, I create both acrylic paintings and digital “paintings” in Procreate, using texture, movement, and color temperature to convey emotion. Each portrait begins with observing the small details that define a subject’s character: the tilt of a head, the softness around the eyes, the energy or stillness in a posture. These cues become the foundation for paintings that are both intimate and alive.
