ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jennifer is a contemporary painter based in New Jersey, working in a modern impressionistic style defined by expressive color, textured brushwork, and emotional presence. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Boston University’s School of Fine Arts (now the College of Fine Arts), with a minor in Art History. After stepping away from painting for nearly thirty years, she returned to art through drawing in 2020, creating memorial portraits and commissions in colored pencil before rediscovering her original passion for painting.

From her New Jersey workspace, J Gulino Studio, she creates both original paintings and commissioned portraits in acrylics, along with digital "paintings" developed in Procreate. Her work centers on the intimate relationships that connect humans and animals, exploring themes of companionship, memory, and the quiet significance of everyday moments. Jennifer also donates a portion of select painting profits to Henry’s Haven, supporting animal welfare within her community.
